Hello somebody has just pointed out to me that none of the rear brake lights on my Vauxhall Combo are working, I will have a look tomorrow, I'm going to check the fuse and then the brake light switch, any of you guys with more experience recommend elsewhere to look?

Sometimes you just have to check the obvious first!

Although it might seem impossible it is possible that both bulbs are open circuit and need renewing. I'd check them first.

Yeah I might try that there are three, and when one blew before it came up with a warning light on the dash, which I didn't think the can would have

Check the clearance between the back panel and/or terminal cover that you've removed. Look for small burn marks.
