Hi there, when I part set the alarm system and re-enter the property the alarm goes off immediately without the warning bleeps. 've looked in the user guide and tried everything from there but nothing works. Can anyone help , please.

The zone type of any zone can be made to changed when the system is part set. The zone type can be changed to "Entry/Exit", "Inhibited Entry" or "Guard". It is also possible to program which "part set" will cause the zone type to change.

The above is taken from the engineers instructions. Basically it sounds like your part set zone/s are programmed to "guard" and not "entry/ext".

Do you have the "user manual"? If so, it tells you in there how to change the zone types.

what he said. ^^^^^. generally, you use part set when you are remaining inside the house. e.g. in bed. therefore, you would nor re-enter the property when paret set is used.

think you'll find that the zonee programming instructions are in the installation guide, not the user manual.

Yes, thats when use it> Its when we come down in the morning, previously t gave the warning beeps.

you'll need the engineer code.

OK thanks. I'll try what the others suggested and if not i'll try and find the installation guide.

whareabouts are you. one of us may be close. sort ot out for a brew and a couple of hobnobs. :49:
