Hi all I just wondering about this board, the tails and bonding, are they 16 mm tails and 10 men bonding? Also the cooker looks like 4mm?? I know the ring is 2.5 and the cooker looks slightly bigger so imagined it was 4mm have you come across any wired like this with the smaller tails?

The cooker is the last circuit on the board after the ring.

Cheers

Very rare to see a C50 consumer unit like that. Not in Milton Keynes is it?

It is solid core be unusual if it is aluminium.

That was in Wednesbury near Walsall and the Board said made in Walsall lol keeping things local in the old days.

Was it usual for tails to be 10mm back in the 1960/70’s?

i'd say those tails were 16mm ( or the imperial equivalent), and yes it was common back then. before we had all these hungry appliances.

You seen many of those C50 consumer units Tel. They are rife in Milton Keynes along with other oddities, seems at the time a lot of new things found there way there but not anywhere else.
