Wondered how fellows have/would do this. They dont want condo showing inside, walls solid wood. Armoured on outside, or plastic condo ? Or wireless sockets!!!

Any thoughts or ideas welcome, experiences always appreciated. Last one i did had no walls finished insside so was easy.

I had one of these and luckily they had a side shed attached so most of the cabling was in there and all the sockets were on that side bar one. I went behind a beam on the roof for the lighting cable and because the floor had beams underneath I put the cable in conduit under the floor (nightmare pulling the cable blind) came up outside the side of the shed (drilling through the base beam!) 2 foot of conduit on the outside and then into the last socket (straight through the wall). looked good in the office but masses of cable in the shed.

It used to be possible to obtain PVC trunking in various wood colours.
In fact it is I know possible to obtain wood trunking.
Don't know where from though, only that it is used in the houses of Parliarment.

Probably made to order then, money just gets thrown at the H of P!! There's no run of the mill Galv or black enamelled conduit in that place, it's all copper conduit with cast brass boxes. Never seen the like before or since!! lol!!

Dont know if it helps any but i bought pine coloured REAL wood trunking in Wickes a few years back roughly inch by three quarters from memory 8ft lengths. top clipped on the same way the plastic stuff does.
It was in the dookits where they sell the mouldings and picture rails.
I recall it being a touch dear but it looked very nice when varnished and attached to channel lining that was on the walls of my cottage

i just remembered that i broke a bit but trying to screw it to the wall after that i pilot drilled every fixing .point

I done something similar a couple of years ago, the customer got a carpenter to route out channels into the timber, and covered with a similar finish timber., everything finished flush and looked excellent if I say so myself!!!
