Found this today (circa 1958)....must have been tedious “clacking” these out on a type writer back in the day!

could one of the older guys enlighten me as to what size roughly in metric 19.052 is and also 7.029
Hmm, I wonder whether I'm supposed to count myself in that category or not?

For the benefit of the younger guys, those cables sizes are not quite written correctly on the schedule; they should be 7/.029 and 19/.052, meaning seven strands of 0.029 inches diameter etc. The quickest way to convert to metric is to multiply 507 by the number of strands and by the square of the diameter.

507 x 7 x (0.029)² = 3.0mm²
507 x 19 x (0.052)² = 26mm²

Also, guys of all ages, we need stuff like this for the museum. Anyone finding old paperwork from electrical contractors, drawings, schedules, invoices etc please let me know if you don't want it.

If you PM me an address and I’ll post it out to you.....I’ve got a few stamps.

Fantastic! Thank you, address follows. I think we've got a fuseboard with Grierson's label on the front but not 12-way unfortunately, so we can't pretend the schedule goes with it.

How many ways is it? I might come across some more.
