I need to extend some cables to move a CU, and I was going to use an adaptable box, some top hat din and Wagos, but I can only seem to find ones rated at 24amp, which is fine for the most of it but what about 10mm shower?

Anyone got a link, my wholesaler aint got nothing higher.

Also do you guys use the dedicated earth ones? I can see this making testing a pain as it would bond them all together creating a load of parallel paths?

As I was using a box and Din rail I wanted to use WAGO Limited -- Online Shop -- TOPJOB S 2002 Series
As these will make a better job of it.
The earth ones areWAGO Limited -- Online Shop -- 2002-1207 Supplied in Bags of 10
As you can see they will clamp to the din rail and introduce a parallel path to every CPC, not an issue but a pain when testing as you would need to test both sides of the joints.

Cage connectors can get real messy with 13 circuits to extend

They do a push in connector (rated at 42A i think) they definatley take 6mm (big red 3 way) not sure about 10mm - thru crimps i suspect for a good maintenance free connection.

I'm not with you on this.

Each connector is a separate unit used to extend a single conductor (a bit like a through crimp) and is not connected in any way to any of the neighboring ones.

If I were using these I would arrange them in circuits along the DIN rail...L-N-E L-N-E L-N-E and so on....

I agree but if you look at the earth ones they have a metal jaw that clamps on the rail this does not act as a through connection rather it would turn the rail into one large earth terminal, and introduce parallel paths.

Don't use the earth type then, just a plain connector...

the 2004 series are rated to 32A but only connect upto 6mm

They are excellent mate. Used loads over the years in industrial panel-building. Make sure you order the correct end-plates to go with them.
