You cant go wrong with a wall chaser and hoover in my opinion. It will cut you nice even chases and keep the dust down to a minimum. The metabo ones are pretty good. Not particularly cheap (i think around ÂŁ700 for chaser and hoover) but durable and easy to use.

Budget limit is 500, can you get anything decent for that guys?

Screwfix for Erbauer Chaser (Product #58708) ÂŁ100
Screwfix for Nilfisk Aero Industrial Vaccum (Product 41848) ÂŁ140

Would recommend getting extra bags for the hoover, you'd be amazed at the amount of dust it picks up.

well, i use a ÂŁ29 chaser from aldi, henry vac with hose taped onto chaser. gets most of the dust, and for the cost of the chaser, can afford to bin it after a few jobs.

i love my Hilti chaser, paid ÂŁ630 for it along with Hilti hoover off ebay a few years ago, plasterers love the neat chases and will usually fill them in for free if on site together ;-)

i use the metabo with a henry hoover attached, cost ÂŁ350. no dust at all really could eat your dinner under it, if i had more to spend at the time would of gone for the hilti though now that is a sexy bit of kit.
