Hi James, I have used one several times, they can come with bags and vacuums on them to attempt to stop the dust, however they are generally very messy. That aside though they are helpful on concrete block and my bosch 36 volt battery drill with a chisel in it usually is capable of getting the block out of the chase afterwards. Combined together it can be a god send compared to just chasing with a Kango by it's self.

I do a reasonable amount of domestic rewires and refurbishments and I swear by them and use a wall chaser as much as i can

you need to buy a decent one though and decent blades!!!

i used to have the makita one(until my van got broken into)

now i have the metabo one

they are around the ÂŁ500 mark

WARNING! DO NOT even attempt to use one without a vacuum!!!

with a henry hoover on the end they are very clean

just make sure you use hoover bags with the henry to catch the dust or it will get clogged up

When you master them, the chases come out very neat and tidy and are a pleasure to make good afterwards

you will also need a sds chisel drill to knock out the chases and back boxes too

if your doing alot of chasing work its a must on the van as far as im concerned and will pay for itself in a short time

No way do you use one of the wall chasers, and then knock it out with a drill :-|
