Hey guys I hope you can help with this one, I'm doing some home decorating and have very basic electrical knowledge.

I've successfully put up 2 new wall lights which are working fine, put up the 3rd this morning and the light will not come on. The first 2 lights I fitted had double wires coming from the wall (2 brown, 2 blue and 2 earth) however this one only has single wires (1 brown, 1 red and 1 earth). This is the only difference I can see from the first 2 lights I put up, would this explain why it isn't working? The light that was up there previously worked fine.

Sorry for the amatuer explanation here, any help would be much appreciated! Thanks.

Are they all switched from the same light switch? Can you post a picture of the back of the 3rd fitting, showing the connections as they currently are.

As soon as you said "Are they all switched from the same light switch?" it made total sense! I think I know where I've gone wrong, I need to put the first of the 2 lights on that switch up first. Thanks for the help!
