Is 2.5mm 4 core SWA cable heavy enough to run the following item?

Dimplex CHF-90
9kw 3ph+N 415v
15 meter cable run on cable tray
Fuses fitted are 15Amp.

This is installed in a garage unit I have purchased and wondered if its Fit to use?(not tried running it yet).

Any advice appreciate.

Cheers

seriously. show us your cable calculations based on the info. in BS7671, and we can tell you if you're right.

Sounds to me like he's got a 3 phase fan heater already installed in his garage, and is asking if 2.5mm swa and 15amp fuses are ok.

ahh. that makes sense. if that's the case, then 9kW over 3 phases, 2.5mm cable, 15A fuses ( or 16A MCBs), looks on the ball to me.

Hello gents

Thanks for the replies, apologies for any confusion with the info supplied I didn't mean to upset anyone, I'm not an electrician hence the reason for me posting on a forum like this was just to find out if this unit was installed correctly from proffesionals. It's the weekend and as you all probably know being skilled trades men electricians are hard to come across at this time.

But thanks to Andyelectric and telectrix for the reassurance and peace of mind, I'm away down to the unit to try it out.

Thanks and Regards
Wiggins
