Need some new grips, who's got the best water pump plier grips?
Ditto. Despite the difference in price I wouldn't say the mechanism on the alligators is in any way 'inferior' - I find it a bit easier to adjust.I use Knipex too but the alligators. Little bit cheaper and I prefer the mechanism.
Rothenberger water pump pliers. Triple set for £43 from builder depot.
I have some Rothenberger tools, they are first class quality, or they used to be . Mine are getting on a bit lol.
Hate them. If you look hard enough in the grounds of Portadown BT Exchange you may find my set, exactly where I threw them a few years back.
How many years are you going back? I've never found Bahco to be good, other than their adjustable spanner which is great (now I've only tried grips, side cutters, screwdrivers, files - all of which I found garbage)I don't think bahco are of the same quality as they used to be.
lol, still not bad kit imo. Just brought a rothenberger blow lamp for £60
