Hi, can anyone source a WebConnect Piggy-Back board for a SMA SB-3300? If so, please PM with price. The inverter will also need a firmware upgrade. System location, Blakeney, Gloucestershire.

Thanks,

There are other ways - what do you want to connect up to? - It may be cheaper to use one of these: SUNNY HOME MANAGER It connects up with bluetooth, links to Sunny Portal and is cheaper than a webbox :)

It does the same thing ...... (and more)
If he really wants the webconnect, try CCL they are about the only people that are likely to have it : SMA WebConnect Interface SWDM-10

Thanks, they only seem to do the "module" version though, which doesn't fit the SB3300. I'll get him to call them.

The Webconnect module is only available for current TL inverter models. Its NOT available for the SB3300 or any of the 'classic' sunny boys with the big heavy transformers in them.
Also be aware it is for the -21 versions NOT -20 versions for thinks like SB4000TL's.

The only way to monitor the SB3300 is either with a RS485 piggy back + RS485 Webbox, or a bluetooth piggyback + either an SMA SunnyView or a BlueTooth Webbox.

Always a nice surprise to find something new!

Like this Webconnect Piggyback ;-)

One thing to watch is that your SB3300 is the right hardware version. Most (from memory) sold in the UK were -10, this is for the -11 version. Worth checking before ordering.
