Wish i had known that before i picked one!! .co.uk and .com were taken, i went for .eu. Now i just have to try to set up the website, who do you guys use for your web hosting? New to this so not sure where to start

It's worth thinking where your customers will be, in the uk - ".co.uk", Europe ".eu", wider afield (or large commercial organisation) ".com", as the costs escalate the larger the audience (not strictly true but think that it's because the "registration authority" for the domains covers a larger area and you'll get the idea )

There is a tendency for suppliers to push you to buy multiple domains (".co.uk", ".eu" and ".com" as well some of the new ones - ".biz", ".me", ".info") Do you really need more than one? (only you can answer that but unlikely if you're a small local company)

For where is best to host it - a lot will depend on who will be creating the website, if not yourself then seek the advice of your web author.
