WEEE directive cost of diposal

Does any one have to dispose of ballasts and lamps for customers. Ive got to dispose of a SON-T lamp and 2 electronic Tridonic ballasts. - Dont know how much to charge customer for disposal costs. (free at the tip but can charge customer).

Does depend on cost and if the tip take it free then maybe charge a few quid for your trouble.

Dont forget you should be licensed to carry waste in your van.

If so, you could probably dump it on your way past to a job one morning.

Either that or maybe suggest to customer that they can take it to the tip for disposal.

This is work for i picked up from a building maintenance company based elsewhere. - Difficult as im not licensed to carry and may need to provide them with a reciept for disposal from an approved Waste disposal firm. - They want to use me in future, so need to sort this out. If i have to travel to dispose them ill bill them accordingly. Will speak to local council on Monday for any local sites.
