Been back to a kitchen today to second fix 9 downlights. Great, it will only take me a couple of hours. I have done a plan measured out to the millimeter. New ceiling put up and plastered, after i put the cables in.
Marked it all out and hey presto all the cables are where i left them except one. The holesaw cut through the ceiling and then i got a nasty burning plastic smell, the wonderful plasterer has decided to fit an oblong ducting for the new extractor above the new ceiling, and it now has a 74mm hole in it.........ah well i found my cable and connected the light, customer not impressed as i also left the sausage a diagram of my measurements, they now have 9 working lights and a big hole in the ceiling where i had to cut out the damaged ducting
