Hi people,

Just wanted to know what everybody’s thoughts are on small outdoor consumer units for EV chargers?

Some are saying that they aren’t good because you get condensation build up in them and terminations rust corrode etc after a few years and they don’t last.

Do you fit them?

Yes, not specifically for EV chargers (yet) but for other applications.
Never had a return visit due to corrosion/condensation or life span! or anything actually.
I mean maybe it won’t cause any faults or anything I’m not sure but have you ever been back to inspect or do another job and check on it to see how it’s doing?
