What Cetification after Dist Board renewal ?

What type of electrical cetification and testing is required once a ditribution board has been renewed. Everybody I ask gives a different answer ranging from MINOR WORKS to a full EIC

Just out of interest, who is telling you that a CU change only requires a MWC? Not an electrician I hope.

If sales at B&Q etc. are anything to go by, I guess many are installed without any certification/testing/knowledge...

Thank you. That is what I thought would be required. I found it strange that my company asked me to carry out a PIR on a building I had tested last year just because it has recently had a DB change. I was shot down for suggesting that the "electricion" who had carried out the work should have provided a EIC on completion
