I was going to say I'm into 6 packs of McCoy's at the moment because they're £1 in Asda, but reading through the thread and at the risk of sounding like an old man I can't help thinking crisps are rubbish nowadays compared with what they were like in the 90s - I remember those Hedgehog crisps and I seem to remember they were quite tasty. Also Brannigans! Proper crisps with proper flavours.
My local sells packets of pickled onion flavour Space Raiders. I think they're 15p as well. 90s prices.
15p for a packet of space raiders; that's cheap compared to a lot of crisps. but it doesn't seem right, that they're no longer 10p.

Just getting into pickled onion MM

but top is just salt & vinegar, with a pickled egg chucked in the bag.

Worcester sauce crisps are mighty fine

Best all time were tge "salt & vinegar nuts", blue bag, lovely zingy flavour and at end had a little packet of cocaine beating powder at the bottom of bag- down the lot in one go for a massive flavour explosion

MCcoys MAN CRISPS!!! sizzling king prawn, gotta bit of a kick to them, nice! Even nicer when they have the multipacks on offer with Chilli and tandoori tai chicken!!

Space Raiders are sold in small packets and they're basically just dried potato foam with pickled onion flavouring, but I don't see why other crisps are so expensive.
The vending machine at work tries to charge about 70p for a bag of Doritos. I don't think I could ever be that desperate for a bag of Doritos.

Asda sell their 'Smart Price' Bombay mix for something ridiculous like 20p a packet.
I doubt you could go down to the local tandoori and hoover up your own for that price.

Nah the best nuts were those 'Big D' nuts they used to sell in pubs, which came on a display card with a picture of a scantily clad lady hiding under the bags of nuts.
To see the picture you simply had to buy all the nuts. Clever marketing.

Nut's are so expensive these days! The only reasonable priced ones are what dumbo eats, jumbo's £1 a bag but they leave a right mess!

just bought 6 bags of s & v square crisps, 6 bags of tangy cheese doritos and 6 bags of worster sauce french fries for £3.50 at asda. can't see 'em lasting the weekend.
