Brilliant! No need to worry about that tedious Feed-in Tariff nonsense and all those nasty people trying to give you money.

Doesn't it say in the bible somewhere "thou shallt not connect thine PV system via a plug 'n' socket"?

Nice having their demo covered in shadows.
Suppose you could constantly move it around the garden with an extension lead! Bet some muppet will buy it to try & run their lawnmower

I was at a trade show last week where one of the nationals was proudly showing everyone one of their installs - shadowed by trees ...........

Do believe B&que were caught out with the same plug arangement on their solar and wind kits..........

@ ÂŁ3666 per kW before installation, thats a bargin. Dont need planning permission = another bonus. What am I doing wrong......should I not be offering the FIT as an incentive to buy, would save me a fortune in annual fees......As for fitting....just bolt it to a shed or something!!!

I still think 99% of the population still do not understand PV and the benefits. If i had loads of money i would be sticking it up everywhere and be thinking of the payback time. But i understand it, i've seen meters going backwards and people saying they've made 25 units a day every day for weeks. The general public do not understand that they can invest ÂŁ12,000 and make back ÂŁ30,000 in 25 years! and also avoid a bit of the increases in energy over that time!

MARKETING mate, google earth villages find the south facing streets do a flyer with sap calc for a system south facing tell them what sap is tell them a price tell them what they'll earn/save. Then stick em through there doors.

200wp system is ÂŁ 795 2 x 100wp chinese 12/24vdc off grid modules on a bit of meccano
with a chinese car inverter probably modified sine wave or very High THD sine wave with shocking effciency
no mention of mcs/g83 compliance either
very expensive for a 200wp system - ÂŁ 2200 for a 600wp system
