Easy, low cost transfer of liability from the customer to you more like.

Except really not much liability is transfered, the duty holder is responsible for hiring a 'competent' person - if they screw that up and get someone up who messes up then the buck stops usually with them, not the tester.

We got our PAT Testing done for no-cost by **************(they offer it all around the UK too). The company do it as part of their cost saving for businesses so it's win-win.
