pulling singles through a ceiling in pipe only to find you are the wrong side of grid/strut/duct

also having to use yellow77 knowing that you need it but when the cables come through you wont be able to grip them

I think my worst one so far is having to completely rewire the ground floor of a LARGE new build, because the customer had changed his mind so much from the original plans, it was easier to just start again. I got the updated plans on the Monday, and a team of 5 plasterers were starting on the Wednesday! Great!

I suppose it's my own fault though. I did tell him that the cut off point for alterations was when it was plastered. Technically he was within the deadline:rolleyes:

Tyrapped cables around the outside of traywork...why do this???? its really annoying...a good traywork job with cable neatly banded is a sight to behold..:D

Having to wire and connect things up!:p

No really mine are, Wholesalers who deliver the wrong stuff, and the company i have done some work for who owe me ÂŁ7000, and its 6 weeks late!!!

Hi everyone new on here.
Just a thought or idea for you to try out after reading these posts and thought i would share this tip with you all.
Instead of using yellow77 when the cables come through you wont be able to grip them. I find it a lot easier using chalk or talc to get cables through conduit, copexs or angle boxes etc try it it works better than yellow 77

People who wire their garage in 0.75 flex then expect me to connect it up and get arsey when i say no and you'll have to rip it all out and start again, i've had more than one of these smart arses too
