Just wondering as these are the acceptable insulation resistance readings for SELV and PELV circuits in Guidance Note 3?. Cheers
 
Sorry guys didnt make myself clear. The page in question is 43 and its referring to testing IR of multicore cables. Still would be interested to know what 1 MCΩ and 1 Mf2 equates to though. Never seen it expressed like this. Cheers

What edition are you using? I have the sixth edition and can't see "1 MCΩ" or "1 Mf2" on the page. Can you post a photo of your page?

Thanks guys. Clears that up anyway. Don't bode well for when i take exams. Bought off bloody amazon aswell. Is it quite common? take it buying straight from IET in future the best bet?

If you've only just bought it, get onto Amazon straight away, they should refund you.

go on amazon and contact them, they will refund etc straight away.

always check the seller through amazon, there also a market place
