I have a pull cord light switch That has 6A 125VL stamped on it. Is this a voltage limiter/ current limiter. This is for a ceiling fixture using 3 100w LED lights so It will never draw even close to 6A.

No. It just means that the switch is capable of switching 6Amps

LED loads, however, do have an inrush current that will be much higher than the rated load of the fitting.

100W seems very high.

This is a ceiling fan with lights that flicker then die. One or two bulbs at a time. I was looking for a current limiter but did not see one in the 20 year old fan. When incandescent were around I used fan bulbs. Any idea what could cause this? Using Cree bulbs but that did not help.
