What does NVQ Level 2 mean ?

Hi all
I do not leave in the UK, got an assessment from UK Naric that says that my trade diploma is the equal of an NVQ Level 2 in UK. My question is what can I do with it ? Can I work as an electrician there ? What is the difference between NVQ and City & Guild, is it the same thing ?

Competence that involves the application of knowledge in a significant range of varied work activities, performed in a variety of contexts. Collaboration with others, perhaps through membership of a work group or team, is often a requirement. At comprehensive schools, Level 2 is equivalent to one GCSE at A*-C

nvq 3 is a small part of an electricians qualification you need far more than nvq 2 to work as an electrician in the uk

There is a real problem with shortage of jobs in the U.K. and so it is a case of low wages but high (and rising) prices for everything. Unfortunately the U.K. is not in the same situation as it was when the Polish, Lithuanians and Czechs et cetera came to the U.k. to work, there is a huge Government debt that needs to be paid off and lack of money to invest in anything.
You would be better off seriously considering Germany or Norway etc. if you want to leave Romania, their economies are still performing very well by comparison to the U.K.
