I was wondering if anyone can answer the below?

A farmer who wants a 25KW install, what rate would he be paid, 15.2 or 12.2, do they need a level D cert or not?

Thanks in advance.

if he can have an epc done on the farm house and connect it back to there it will be ok

also will it hold the extra weight lol

if its a barn without heating or cooling and not wired to a provide electricity to a building which can get an EPC then a DEA needs to supply a letter confirming an EPC is not possible in this situation along with the OFGEM energy efficiency declaration form with the relevant section ticked and signed.

It would be a non-domestic energy assessor that you would need a letter from. Depending on the assessor they would probably need to visit the site to make sure (for their own insurance purposes) before committing to a letter. Non-domestic assessors can be located at the central register : https://www.ndepcregister.com/
