I have had it where I haven't made it to the phone in time, by seconds. Phoned the dude straight back and it rings and rings to answerphone. I mean, you just called me, how far away from the phone can you BE?

I would say most of the above hacks me off.
Drivers who think my van can stop in 2 feet... yes go on pull out in front of me so I can slam the brakes on, then give me the finger when I have the gaul to hit the horn.
Someone "borrowed" my nice big chop saw. As I came into the room he was forcing the blade at an angle through a small bit if wood, it caught on the blade (no surprise) and the muppet kept his finger on the trigger for good measure, end result an unrepairable saw. New one only £700 ... and the best bit.. Oh it wasn't working right its your fault I have a broken finger!!!!!! After explaining the facts of life to him I got nothing for the damage. He was an agency so called electrician. I still have no idea why he used it or which packet of cereal he got his quals from. I built a stud wall and wired up 4 light switches and 9 light fittings in the time he did 1 double socket! They must be on day rates.

When Mrs B and I go out to eat we quite often end up ordering the same thing.
When the waitress serves the plates I ave been known to say:
"You got them the wrong way round."
Usually gets a double take before the penny drops.........

That doesn't bother me, it peolple who dont cut down threaded rod above ceilings, there is already limited space to move in them without the inconvienience of whacking your head on that.
