I know it is stupid. I used to have the same issue with volume levels. Had to be even numbers. I hate myself.

I have a similar thing with turning sockets off before unplugging items, really winds me up to see people not doing it.
It doesn't stem from OCD reasons though. I once thought I had turned off a 3kW heater before pulling the plug out of an unswitched extension lead. I had actually turned it up full and it thanked me with a bit of a flash and a bang.

Fair point Geordie. However, I suspect that some could do more to improve their standard of communication. I regularly check the spelling and usage of words online when I'm not sure. I even find myself looking up the same thing repeatedly because it's not sunk in the first time. It just takes a bit longer than bashing out the first thing that comes into your head.

If you really want to take the time, you can compose something in MS Word, run a spelling and grammar check, and then paste it into the forum. It might even give the opportunity for a sanity check on the technical content at the same time.

Oh I agree I really do!

I was just chucking a little Geordiesm into the mix with the word "detoxic" (dyslexic) but it seemed to go over your head. ;)

Anyway, one of many that grinds my gears is the confusion over "to", "too" and "two" but all of this pales into insignificance when compared to Tidyboiler's gear shifts. ;)

you wet the bed agin, geordie?

Not slept very well Tel.

Had a sleeping pill before going to bed. It didn't work so took another which didn't work either so took a third and a bottle of Black Sheep Golden Sheep and spent the rest of the night at the bog peeing.

It's 3:00pm now and I'm STILL awake!!

Looks like Tony's got competition for this year's Insomniac of the Year Award!!!

Not pulling you up on that one, Geordie; I could see what you were getting at, being familiar with your tidy posting style. The only time I get lost is when you're going all colloquial.

Good lad!

If you ever get stuck ask Wor Trev for the translation. ;)

(Or Tidyboiler if you want it in Staffy/Pikey speak)

On some custom made Marshall amplifiers the volume control goes all the way up to .... 11 !!

My Marshall stack only goes to 10........Talking about volumes at my last gig the mixer guy was angry at my band because we had all are amps cranked haha! I want to see his face next time i go back going to bring 2

I find it quite amusing the standard of installations when just out and about. I do it subtly though, as girlfriend finds it sad and annoying :). We went to spain last year...... omg

We usually have a cat 1 of the year award from all the lads on holiday take a pic of best Car 1 and we decide at end.
The Thailand ones generally unbeatable
