Yes mate, I click on add image. Get the option to choose either something of the computer or a URL. So I follow the path to the image on the computer and click on the upload button. And then nothing happens. It’s been like that for months. Even formatted and reinstalled everything on the computer. I still think the problem is with a windows update of some sort. Just can’t figure out which one it is. On a more positive note, it’s saved me from a few bans…lol

Is the problem only intermittent or is it always impossible to post images?
Just out of interest if you have another browser installed can you tell me if it's a problem with both browsers or just the one.
Can you give me your browser and OS details please.

If anyone else is also having problems please let me know. The more info we can get the better chance we have of replicating the problem which is a big first step in fixing it.

Once I figure out how to get the pictures from my phone onto the lappy I post mine up lol.

Aye ... that's mine - or one of them.

I got that one just a few weeks ago off e-bay ... It's 14 years old and I can't believe how good it is and a shed load of paperwork with service histories etc. It was garaged & never moved for 3 years.

Had to go to Nottingham to collect it, and the drive back was bloody good fun!!

Typically though, just after getting it I fell poorly and I'm still poorly so I can't go out and play with it.

The other MR2 I have is a 16 year old red one with a 3 litre V6 but that engine is knackered. I'm thinking if I can't get the engine fixed I'll keep it for spares for the silver one.

post #59 via google chrome on windows 7 home premium- ok
just tried IE 10 on same OS- click on link to insert image. when you go to browse computer, there is no option for that. hope some or all of that helps...

Thanks for the info Dan86. Sounds like a problem specific to IE. We had another IE issue not long ago where an update caused the enter key to not start a new line in the text box. I think some people still have this issue so I'm not sure if a further update has fixed it yet. IE updates seem to cause as many problems as they fix

I don't use IE .. never have.

Tend to use Firefox, Chrome (which I'm thinking of dumping) and Opera.

ahh, now you come to mention it. the enter key to start a new line wasn't working. DOH!

I'm also an Opera user, it's a massively underrated browser.

To be honest, I have been away for a while and had forgotten about it. The return key also does not work. The forum used to freeze or took ages to refresh but that rarely seems to happen now. The strange thing is, it only happens on this forum. Never have any problems anywhere else. Not really that bothered about it. Back to the guessing game me thinks….lol.
