Makita for me 18v

I think the new Bosch 10.8v only has 105Nm of torque and is not made for too heavy tasks. For serious screwing, have you had a look at these Bosch GDR14.4V-LI-CP 14.4V li-ion Impact Driver (2 x 1.3Ah Batteries)

Quite a bit more money but it is a serious Impact Driver with 150Nm of torque

AEG (who are the same as Milwaukee ) have a decent one quite a bit cheaper with 155Nm of torque but unfortunately you only get Ni-Cad batteries A.E.G. Power Tools AEG BSS18CNC BSS 18CNC Cordless Ultra Compact 18 Volt Impact Driver 2 x 2Ah NiCd - A.E.G. Power Tools available at Toolbox

Hope this helps

What other make of cordless tools do you have, may be worth just getting a bare unit and use existing batteries.
Lot easier on the wallet

Sorry I have just realized you meant ÂŁ150 not 150Nm

I think Roundman has hit the nail on the head, if you can utilize your existing batteries & charger, you will save loads. For example the ÂŁ319 bosch can be bought for ÂŁ120 bare.

I brought a performance power impact driver from b & q for ÂŁ50.00 walked on site with it and got mocked to death untill. one of the other guys driver went ---- up and asked to borrow mine the next day he had one and said it was fantastic and by the end of the month four more people had one

Ive got the 10.8v bosch driver which I love and is one of the best tools ive ever bought. On the other hand.....

the impact driver is flippin useless!!

I have AEG 14.4V impact driver with 2 x 3.0AH Li-ion batts for ÂŁ149.99.:)

Had it for about a year now and chuffed with it.

I think it may have been a special.....it was a shop local to me called Leekes.

The new AEG stuff is orange and is supposed to be very good.
