Time is up. Please apply lump hammer and solve problem. If casing at all rubbery, beware of rebounds as a smack in the chin from a lump hammer hurts, especially when applied by oneself.
 
And the winner is Gaffer when I broke it open found a PCB with a photocell on it so it was already broken before I smashed it:rolleyes:

I thought I'd seen it before, the ex father in law used to have one in his lounge for when he was out at night.Now he just leaves the mother in law at home and she scares off any would be burgular.:D
