What is Rt?

I follow an electrical engineering page on Facebook and this keeps popping up in my feed.

I know you can break it down to make individual values for a group of resistors, to simplify working out Rt. However this one has me stumped i must admit. :frown:

Anyone able to work out what the answer is!

i get 1.333 ohms.

oops. missed the 2 x 5ohm, and just did the network. revised answer:

11.333

I’ve got an question lined up on series/parallel networks lined up for posting in this section.

I’ve already loaded the drawings to photobucket ready for posting but I need a few days write the notes to go with the drawings.

Which two do you mean? The one going in and the one going out?

And you make the network 1/0.75 = 1.333333333 ohms?

:)
yep. i missed out the 2 on the left of the drawing. forgot to add them in.
