What is this switch

I have a dimmer switch to my porch light that got some extra features that I have no idea how to use. Would greatly appreciate it if someone can tell me. Thanks!

Apologies, maybe I'm too sensitive . Just seems to be an unfriendly forum to new users these days. Even when people ask things politely they often get abrupt unfriendly comments. It didn't used to be anywhere near as bad as this. On the other forums I use (bikes, PCs etc.) things are much more friendly. Daz

Nothing wrong with either of them.

I have had to use Google to find instructions AND I have and to replace a perfectly good Programmable Thermostat simply because I couldn't understand how to use it!!

You could rephrase that to concise and to the point. The OP doesn’t know what it is and by the replies neither does anyone else.

i clocked it straight away, but didn't want to spoil the fun. it's a auto/manual override switch for the temporal flux monitor in the tardis. i remember seeing it used by william hartnell .
