Evening all...

Just wondered if anyone could tell me what this is?

I think its for an Electro Osmotic damp proof course but I could be completely wrong!

Well its deffo a power supply, as you stated used for damp or descaling water pipes.....never seen one of these work yet. All theory and no results.

I quite agree with you on the damp proofing side of things, but descaling of hard water in pipes and tanks etc is a proven technology... I have one fitted in both my house and a rental villa i have in Cyprus. Unlike from what i hear from my neighbours, we have had no trouble at all of irons furring up, scale build-up in washing machine/dishwasher or within kettles and coffee makers etc... Believe me the water in Cyprus is Hard and a big problem for the appliances i mention as well as the solar heated water tanks on just about every roof on the Island!! lol!!
