what is your target salary as a spark???

Right, bit of a sensitive subject here guys.....

How much money are you guys looking to earn, im not asking how much you earn now but would like to know what is your target that youd be HAPPY with ( realisticly ). Im asking as i find this quite interesting, some people are very happy with plodding along with life earning 12k, whereas some people would be over the moon with 18k.

Ill start to get the ball rolling.

As im unemployed right now, a cup of tea and a hobnob.
5 years down the line, with experience and qualifications complete 40 - 60k.

Supply and demand, depends where you live , what area you work in , as everbody will agree ( I hope ) we are not being recognised for the responsibilty we carry,
the skills we aquire and the trust placed in us- but then again nor are paramedics

I've worked for £12.50 hour previously. This was many years ago. I was entitled to other benefits to help support my family.

Most of my mates that are sparks say I'm sick cos I love house bashing and would choose it over any commercial work

I've got a mate who loves house bashing, his boss asked both me and him who wanted to do board changes in disneys uk central hub big panel boards etc not for all the tea in china would he do it, mad!, I almost bit his arm off . As a rule I'm not interested in a domestic job unless the house is huge and worth over a couple of mill or the customer is famous Only joking
