Im a security engineer (cctv, alarms etc) during my apprenticeship i completed c&g 2351 parts 1 & 2 (9 years ago) which i was told qualifies me as a wireman. As i only work on low voltage equipment i was unable to take the nvq level 3 onsite training to qualify as an electrician. As i mainly work in commercial properties our spurs are always provided for us so its never been an issue, however im looking to work for myself next year and am wondering what courses/ what i need to do to be qualified to install fused spurs and possibly security lighting in residential properties?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated
