Hello people,

I'm trying to wire up a second hand Cannon cooker (indesit). Ordered a terminal block but what I received was what I already had. I've attached a photo of the panel on the back (sorry it's sideways) so can anyone tell me what I need to wire it up safely?

Is there a part I need to order, was this maybe ripped off when someone was uninstalling it?

Do you have the cover that clips on to to cover that?
As it looks like that and the screw to close the cable clamp shut is the only thing missing,

Then you'll just need the instructions to know what the terminals are, and an electrician to connect it

I do, sort of. The piece that I ordered, the terminal block, is exactly what's here, but with the cover.

If I can show another pic though, I can't see where to put the cable. There doesn't appear to be a gap for it. Is it in by those brass/ gold parts?

If you don't know where to put the cable I would suggest employing someone who does (electrician). That way they can check the supply cable, isolator etc and test the circuit to ensure it is safe, they will probably take a look at the installation in general and your bonding to water/gas/oil service pipes. Allow circa ÂŁ50-70 ish..... Half hour ish job.....

If you look closely, you'll see that the two brass jumpers are clamped in the terminals at each end. That is where your L and N need to go. The manufacturer's instructions will show which is which. The earth terminal is similar.

Eh? I wouldn't say that two items are "a lot".

What about Missing the MAIN PROTECTION ie the COVER.. would you class that as a LOT

Why not LEAVE the Cover off the Consumer unit, basically want it is.. would you class that as missing a LOT

missing the screw to hold down the cable clip
the cable clip looks damaged to me
missing the main body of the cover.
