Hi, I've just brought a new tester a Martindale EasyPAT 1600. I want to know what setting to use on the items I test.

I know the 100mA is for IT equipment, the 25A would be for the 13A fused items and 110v items. So would the 8A be used for the 3A, 5A and 10A items?

And yes I have read the manual.

I seem to remember you have to test at something like twice the rating of the fuse up to a maximum of 26A.
It's in the code of practice somewhere; I haven't done any PAT testing for a while.
