Hello
Have a ring doorbell which is powered from the mains using the ring branded transformer that came with the unit.
Its been working well for about 2 months since it was installed by an electrician and then just failed last week and appears as though no power is reaching it.
I used a multi meter to check the transformer and found no power coming out but the input from the consumer unit is reading at 430 volts.
I'm no expert with a multi meter but I expected this to be 240 and I'm now worried its been wired-in incorrectly could anyone advise?
