Hi all
I have been trying to check my own system to identify whether it is TT TNCS etc and now have some concerns:confused: House is over 20 yrs old but has had an extension Meter etc is in garage To describe the wiring configuration I will describe the flow as best I can:

Distributors tails into cut out, then to meter
From meter to fuse board (rewireable BS3036 I think) via 100ma trip
From fuse board to house etc

Only earth wire I can see (single cable) comes from behind the fuse board and bonds to gas on supply side
I have found under the kitchen sink an earth cable coming from the wall and bonding to water mains pipe but cannot see where this reconnects with rest of the system

There is no visible earth terminal anywhere near the fuse board or within sight of it

Question From my basic knowledge this does not appear good. What earthing system have I got? What should I do to check/improve things?
:)

check the continuity of the earths youve got to see whether they are connected or not. Do a loop test Ze to confirm suppliers earth

My thoughts are on the TT train too. 100mA RCD up front of a 3036 board, bond to service....typical olde TT.

Needs sorting out mind, particularly if no rod present.
