Hi all,im currently on my 3rd year at evening college doing the 2330 level 2 finished and have a couple more exams on level 3, i currently work for a dealer owned petrol station my boss owns 5 big sites, i do sites maintenance my dutys include everything really, but my passion has been the electrical side of things, i enjoy working alongside the electricians we use and its good due to getting to wok with most wiring methods my question is this though i want to progress as much as i can with the electrical side of things maybe move onto work for an electrical company but once have completed the 2330 im not sure were to go as the NVQ3 is no longer available to me as im told? i could have done this through XS training but my currrent job wouldnt have been appropriate to complete the qualification as i simply dont do enough electrical work..
everyone i ask at college doesnt have an answer to how i can gain the NVQ3 im not sure its available anymore unless your doing the new version of 2330?
i know its needed to become a fuly qualified electrician what other options would there be?
i have my 2330 lv2 soon be done on level 3
2357 ( my company sent me on this course)
2382 (will do this once 2330 finished the college run the course for us after)
it gets a little disheartning as some people say im wasting my time and my money but i really enjoy the work especially fault finding, and ive had some lovely faults to find at my current works especially on the millions of pyro's we have lol
any info is greatfully recived
