Hilti you won't get much change out of £600 if you get the one with the integral 16amp 110v socket outlet.

But i would say worth every penny and would be quite happy to splash the cash again if needed .

Oh don't worry I splashed the cash on the red monster, love it but could have bought the nilfisk alto one at half the price for an identical machine :-(

But at least the red ones faster !
Sorry , just could not resist a quick reference to the great " Kevin Bloody Wilson !"

Just in case any fans are reading this I think this years " Cop-u-later " tour is going to be his last UK one !
So best get it booked if you ever want to see the little bloke live , which i can honestly say is bloody well worth the effort !

I found a reasonably small Nilfisk that looked perfect for a bit of house bashing and with auto startstop socket too!
Good value for £140 from Screwfix; so I thought I'd buy it when my Tesco credit card came through (points mean prizes!). I normally check their daily deals if I go on their site and there it is Nilfisk Alto Aero 25-21 £50 off!:greedy::greedy::greedy::greedy::greedy:
http://tinyurl.com/67mkjvo (wouldn't let me use their address?!)

Ends at midnight tonight if anyone else is looking!

I use the good old henry, in my opinion works fine with my wall chaser, whichever vacuum you use you've got to remember to not pull the chaser off the wall before it stops(keep the vac going). I think there £90 at the moment from john lewis delivered to your door with a 2 year gaurantee

I bought a Henry 23 years ago and it is still going strong- had a newer model that only lasted about 3 years.
They certainly don't make them like they used to !

got the nilfisk ALTO aero 25-21 wet and dry from screwfix along with the erbauer wall chaser, at £139.99 and £99.99 respectivley, got myself a set up that i was more than happy with all for under £250, when it comes to hooking up a chaser to a vac it is the vac that counts, have hired from various toolshops over the years and couldnt believe how good this nilfisk was for the money, has a power take off socket and a button that cleans the filter

That's exactly what I have too! I ordered my Nilfisk on Monday and by chance Screwfix had £50 off it! Chuffed to say the least; I have as yet to use the chaser and vacuum together. I'm hoping for a less 'ducking fusty' experience than my last one :stuart:

Anyone used the Karcher WD2-200 wet and dry vacuum cleaner as Screwfix have them at £49.99 at the moment (hopefully it will clean-up whilst I'm chasing!!)?

I've got Henry and it seems fine... My only complaint is that with the newer models you have to flick a switch to set full power EVERY TIME YOU SWITCH ON! So irritating, the Henrys of a few years ago had a toggle switch which could be left permanently in the full power position.

I've just bought a Einhell BT-VC 1500sa Wet and Dry Vacuum from argos for £80. It had good reviews. I've used it at a house we are renovating for dry work only and for a job recently, but not with a wall chaser. it performs pretty well and when the filter gets clogged a good bash against the side of the bin soon empties it.
Just bought it and use it for a while. After 7-8 meters of wall chaser work it stucks. It needs to be clean very well with air compresor. The bash against a wall or vacuum bin does a little work. After two or three times i have to "clean" it every 2-3 meters.
I need a pro vacuum that does what it claims without argues.
hilti maybe is the best, or some bosch, but their price is high. But you get what you pay.
