I'm in abit of a dilemma in regards what to buy for a decent vacuum.
I used to use a nice cheap Argos vacuum because I knew it was going to be battered.
It was lasting quite well until I connected it to my wall chaser to extract the brick dust.

Basically the Hoover bag didn't collect all the brick dust as its so fine and it got through the filter of the bag and went through the motor causing it to blow up.

Top quality Chinese rubbish.
So what would you recommend. I hear most sparks use a Henry as they has 3 stage filtration if you use there bags as well.

What you reckon?

I used to use a Henry until an app dropped the hose down a bog while it was switched on ( not pretty ) the lady lady of the house gave us her old hoover and that was two years ago and its still going strong , mind you when it packs up it will be another Henry

Had a Henry when i first started. Had 2x bungalow re-wires, He lasted the first one and motor burnt out on the first chase of the second one. For me its the makita vac all the way bags are a bit pricey but at least my lungs are safe. Safe your self a little later by spending it now especially for the sake of 200 quid.

one of the Henry family there are loads Henry George Charles Hetty all do different things ie water ect they also do a Massive industrial one Numatic dont think the big one has a name

I've got the Bosch 25 lt vac. Socket built in for attachment of chaser/tool for auto start/stop. Had it for four years it's done lots of chasing and tidying up afterwards, great piece of kit can't fault it.
