I'm in abit of a dilemma in regards what to buy for a decent vacuum.
I used to use a nice cheap Argos vacuum because I knew it was going to be battered.
It was lasting quite well until I connected it to my wall chaser to extract the brick dust.

Basically the Hoover bag didn't collect all the brick dust as its so fine and it got through the filter of the bag and went through the motor causing it to blow up.

Top quality Chinese rubbish.
So what would you recommend. I hear most sparks use a Henry as they has 3 stage filtration if you use there bags as well.

What you reckon?

STIHL make some good industrial grade ones and they have small sized ones that easily fit into the corner of a van.....you could always rent one from a tool hire shop for a day to try out then buy one later, I find them good to use....

Nilfisk, don't buy anything else. They make most of the vacumns for other people and they just rebadge them,Fein for sure and also Hilti.I used to have a henry, blown motor after 2 months.Makita still going strong but not enough power with Hilti wall chaser.I now have a large Nilfisk duo motor vacumns but can chase a wall in a kitchen with a black granite top and get no dust,it sucks it all up.
I also have a Nilfisk portable Hoover about the size of a henry but runs for an hour on lithium rechargeable batteries and really quiet with more suck than a henry.
They are the best.

not sure for sparks work but ive heard kirby vacumes are the best on the market altho they come with a price tag (which ive been told you can get down to half the price)
also if ur buyin it off kirby u get a 3 year warranty
(or even better get one off ebay)
