What are your thoughts?

I think a good electrician will accept full responsibility for their work and that responsibility should extend for the life of the installation.

A bad electrician would chuck it in any old way and be off in the van as quickly as possible without a second thought.

Potential ?

Hi,

A good electrician, like any good worker is conscientious and cares about the quality of the job as he has integrity as a person. A bad sparky sees a job only as a payday, nothing more, and disrespects the profession and his clients in his lack of care.

a good electrician not only knows muliple ways of doing the same job, he/she also knows why they are doing the job that way, how their work may impact upon the installation, knows the applicable regs, or at least can find them easily.

Aood sparks also has to be be able to learn new technologies and regulations whenever they arise.

Alot of sparks do it because that is the way they always have, and when asked to justify, they spout electrical myths and hearsay.

A good electrician will follow the seven P's rule.....Proper Preperation & Planning Prevents P*ss Poor Performance

A bad electrician will follow the four P's rule.....Put it in, get Paid and P*ss off down the Pub
