Discuss whats the situation in the Solar PV Forum | Solar Panels Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

Back to the original post - we've had a bit of sun for the last couple of days, not a lot but just enough to encourage our customers to call. We've had 4 this week, maybe if we could all do some sort of sun dance it might help!

We've had a nice increase in enquiries. And we're winning some too - which is also important!

I'm just glad to be working again. It's been a struggle.

We're doing a big leaflet drop from tomorrow.

we're a bit more picky, and only do Leeds, Yorkshire and surrounding areas and erm Inverness:)

We've installed far more systems in Inverness than we have in Bradford...

Gavin, you will have to put your prices up a little in Inverness, with the news today about the price rises in alcohol in Scotland, unless you are T total of course...

we have a decent website trying to keep it up to date is a pain in the --- let me know what you think
http-sutton-solar.co.uk
we have a few large enquiries to pursue but the domestic is very quiet

Seen an upturn in enquieries have done about 5 quotes this month none confirmed. Some customers want verbal prices which really is tough as its the unknown. None booked for May or June yet !!! However got a survey booked for every night for the next 2 weeks .....must get something I hope.

But again not spending much time on PV as the customers haven't been there luckily electrical and building contracts are busy !!

Website and google/referrals ......

got one confirmed job, just sent the contract off today to be signed so have organised my inspection for May 29th. I'd let it lapse as there didn't seem much point if there was no work coming in, now rushing a bit to get the install done in time!!

Now we'll start a push on advertising and getting the website done as I've gone to the expense of renewing.

Think we were on the ÂŁ20 bottles of wine last time we were up there, rather than the buckfast;)

But yes, our prices are higher for up there to cover the costs of hotels, transport etc and we're still seriously under the local conservatory company prices. The scaf cost up there is pretty shocking mind.
