Discuss When do you change your batteries?????? in the Periodic Inspection Reporting & Certification area at ElectriciansForums.net

Tesco recently did a buy a pack of 8 and get extra 2 packs free, once they have gone I shall go onto Lithium to try.
My Fluke 1652B gets a bit funny when the voltage drops to 7.7v.

Yep my 1553 was going in for calibration and the votage was 9v so popped into Tesco and got buy 4 Duracell Ultra for £4.75p and get 4 free on Thursday and when they were selling their energy saving lamps for 10p each a got a pile of them for the motor and garage and I must have got 200 over a period of time now I have about 60 left as I charge the letting agen £4 per lamp .

Hi.
my fluke 1652
you just hit set the dial to V
Hit the F3 button and it displays the battery voltage.
supposed to be ok as long as 6.0v or above.
My martindale veritest 2330 doh cant remember.

I only replace them on my Fluke 1652 when it cries for new batteries (when the battery symbol stays on once turned on). Duracell takes it a long way for me!

It should give fairly accurate results. Bear in mind your car will probably have a smart charging system, so worth having a read up on those.
