I assumed they installed that enormous contraption so they could get their CT metering equipment in there. If not then it's ridiculously large for the size of the supply.

perhaps i should take some pics of the 2 flats that i have managed to persuade a tite arsed landlord to have rewired thats full of VIR so shot its literally falling apart all over the place...
oh, and by the way both flats have had recent board changes with no EICs and no RCDS/RCBOs (apart from a 6A c curve RCBO for the up flat lights on the worst of the VIR)

PVC twin at the boards that is `jointed` onto rubber under floors/in ceilings...
you get the drift...
