Where have all the thank you's gone

Question for the administrators really.
I noted on a thread entitled dimmable energy efficient lamps,(By Underdog) that pushrod was promting the poster to hit the thank you button.
Got me thinking that although a while back now, I had loads of thank you's from various posters myself. But there all gone .
Well I would like my badges back fellas , werz they to,

Must admit it does mildly annoy when someone gives a detailed answer or provides useful links/references that is then ignored or some one says "please, please help" and then when they are helped... nothing.

Well if they cant hand out a thankyou at christmas, It will be the clanking of chains and a visit from Jacob Marley for sure. Yo hoho.
