Hi,
Apparantly AM2 is a must have i think thats between ÂŁ1100-ÂŁ1800,2391 is between ÂŁ200-ÂŁ600,NVQ3 is between ÂŁ1000-ÂŁ1500,prices vary depending on location so shop around.
I also heard if you have at least 5 years experience in trade (including college years) then you dont have to do NVQ but dont quote me on that as im not 100% sure of this.
I will be finishing C&G 2330 L3 course soon and would like to know what will my status be-will I be a qualified electrician who can carry out my own work? also can I inspect, test and sign off an installation?
I have had a lot of conflicting information and would like to know what I can and cant do legally when I have passed level 3.
By the way do you remember any of your 301 questions? I have mine next week!

Iv just looked around on the internet and called a few and got some ok prices on them courses AM2 ÂŁ750 and NVQ3 ÂŁ1000 so thats not too terrible.

About the 301 im not a good person for relaying exact questions i had quite a few on Motors but if you revise your motors you will be fine! spider diagrams my revision help for motors helped me remember! I had minimal formulae one just your Xl= 2 pi f l And Xc 1/ 2 pi f l but dont panic too much alot people make out to be miles worse then it is!!! Aslong as you revise your be fine. I would email you some papers but a friend of mine has got all my notes for his this friday! Good Luck!!
