So I've recently finished my level 3 and I've been having a good look online at the online course and the 3 day course from mainly two providers (tradeskills4u & niceic) but its bloody £400+!!!! I've been on YouTube watching alot of sparkyninjas walkthrough of the book and wondering why not just do that and pay for the exam! Is it a good idea or do i need the classroom?!

Why not try the online simulator tests a good few times and be honest with yourself about the results. There are a few knocking about online and from what I remember (did mine pretty much as soon as it came out due to working rules) they are reasonable approximation of the actual online test.

If you pass consistently then go for it. Just make sure you are clear on the rules for taking the test regarding marking your BBB an sticking in pages or guides. Where I did it they were letter of the law !

Few previous threads on here. You can book exam only with a local college and shop around for online providers who give practice questions and exam simulation.

I have been looking at where I can book my test locally but there as been a load of online tests popping up too. Only worry is that are they going to be valid ?
